haha.. well if u saw my post a little while back.. i did say im pushin ght 4g94 till she breaks.. then ill be swappin to a slowboy/buscher or ams crate motor..lol but.. ill also be doing a tubed front end and a few other things to go along with that.. thats when ill go to full on race car instead of just a full on turbo lancer...
but my goals basically 11s fwd car in the 4g94. around 400hp.. if i get to the 11s without a problem.. ill push for 10s.. but i figure the motor wouldnt handle it.. i donno ive seen a few 10s 4g93's maken 600ish hp runnin for a long while.. who knows.. but i will NOT build another 4g94 motor.. not because its a bad motor.. but ive done a big upgrade at every break.. it just makes sense.. plus ill push for 600+hp on a 4g63/64


yesturday i got to a happy stopping point with my valve cover. now im just awaiting the paints i ordered to i can add my little touches to it..

Should i stick with OEM oil cap?. or go with the Shocker or the DOMO oil caps instead.?. lol

anyways.. heres 3 pics.. once my pain arrives ill finish it. Gotta add my little touches to it still.. (biohazard is the "theme" for the valve cover)

 

HaHa.. ok well.. weekend update.. Im lazy.. senate has called me out! HaHa..
If my car was sitting in my driveway. and wasnt needed elsewhere id be much further along with my build.. Motor im suppose to have back, and i quote, 'we should have it fully assembled by next weekend' thats all the machine work and fully assembled. so then all i have to do it pick it up.. take it to the shop and spend an evening or two swappin it all.
MY intake manifold is done..(not the one pictured, but looks almost identical.)
and im still waitin for the turbo to get back to me so we can finish up the turbo manifold.. got a couple nice upgrades ive gone with that should pay off.
Goal is to have it running by the end of the month, so i can go to importfaceoff in atlanta in march.. It WILL be there, i donno if i will race, might just be in the show.. if i do race, it will only be a few light passes at 14psi.

lets see.. ImportFaceOff is March 21st in Commerce, GA.. Ill be at it.. but i donno if the car will be now that i lookat the calender, im hoping to be able to race the car just to break the motor in. but theres no telling just yet. so much to get done still and parts r taken forever to get back to me.. but thats how it goes sometimes!

Importafaceoff will be in montgomery on may 16th.. i will be bracket racing at it im sure as long as nothings broke.

ImportAlliance isnt till july 16th-18th, and thats just to far out for me to really try to plan.(in nashville)
*edit* IA is also April 11 in atlanta

well the main goal is to get it to importfaceoff in atlanta for march 21st. just to play around a little..
ill only be at 14psi for that event. and also on a stock cam.. things are taking forever to get here. ill actually be able to use the 22x8 slicks for a short time before i go up to the 26'x8.5s.. it should be fun if we get it all put back together in time.. still no ETA on the turbo or the parts for the head, thats whats killin most of my timeframe. cant finish the turbo stuff without it.

oh and importalliance is April 11th.. ill be there.. but i think its a car show only.. (no idea since i cant find info on it)

 

ok.. valve cover.. paints came in today.. so i decided to do my stencils.. and i screwed up the first one and said F* it.. and just went all orange.. instead of any designs.. i also have aflouresent pink that looks pretty cool but this orange color its really bright and i like it..
I also have a Gold and also another orange color that i dont like as much.. i have 3 valve covers layen around.. so ive been playen with them all today. i settled on this bright orange color.

gunna do one more coat tomorrow and it will be done.. hopefully i dont mess it up

sticken to stock ecu for now, and 399 maf. (i had a 501, but i sold it to my buddy, so i gotta get a new one)
If i do a upgrade, ill do an evo ecu.. just dont see a point in a standalone as of right now. because if i break it.. im swappin to a 4g63 stroker, and then i gotta redo it all.. plus the auto trans kinda makes a huge wiring nightmare..
