So another question!! What are considered to be good AFR's while boosting, and bad one? Thanks guys!

I have been thinking about this as well. From what I have learned every car is different. An evo usually likes to be at 11.8-12.2 I believe, and everyone in the lancer forums has been mentioning running at anywhere between 11 to 11.6, so I think I'm going to try and sit at 11.5.

A "bad" AFR is anything not in range, don't go too rich, don't go too lean.

Awesome, this thread has been such a huge help for me in understanding and learning so much. Parts are on the way, i think i have a general idea of the basics now! I just hope i can bang out the install in a weekend and have it ready for work monday! Im going to keep learning and reading and searching more and more, ill post up more q's if i dont understand! Thanks!

Got another question here. How much boost is safe to run in an auto trans? I was planning to run 5-7PSI?

5 psi is good starting point. You can't go lower than that with the 5-10 lbs spring anyway.

Yeah, but will the transmission be able to handle that?? i know there is quite a bit of auto lancers turbo'd as well

Just not sure if people reccomend upgrading the torque converter or anything at 5psi?
