CVT turbo kit is back added to the website. Call us and we will discuss the details. They are ready to order for both 2.4 liter and 2.0 liter Lancer CVT. Thanks

This is incorrect. CVT can handle a great deal of pressure just not in a dynamic gear ratio operation. The TCU will allow for a great deal of slippage and engagement to counter act the higher TQ numbers. This has a great deal to do with the Anti Vibration Algorithm programmed into the ECU.
Heat kills the CVT. Not the TQ pressures.
250 to 300 hp is possible so long as you service your CVT frequently with fluid changes. At my last check in with my Asian contacts, CVT reinforcement (belt) is in the works, but they will not go into mas production until there is a market need for it.

Any updates on the CVT reinforcend belts going into production?
none what so ever.
It was shear speculation that anyone was going to make an improved cvt belt to begin with and interest in it was no where near enough to drum up a prototype. Any improvement to the cvt design will be made through newer generations of the cvt itself. It's very unlikely that those improvements will trickle down to the older versions that the lancer has.
