My 05 lancer turboed lancer thread...never thought it would happen
I had an evap issue, and it did end up being the gas cap. I thought "i'll just buy autozone's stant or whatever", but it had the same code. An OEM gas cap, no code...I'm loving OEM parts more and more. I get oem belts (or gates), oem accessories to the engine like water pump, PS pump, alternator, etc. I buy OEM injectors (from subaru), oem thermostat, hell...I bought an OEM turbo! I'm almost done with autozone/advance/oreilly's unless I absolutely need the part right then.
Also, fuel trims...many things can throw them off. Sometimes I adjust a value, then more, then more, and then later I change the thing that would have made the diff in the first place, and all the sudden I'm like...oh, so that's it. Can I PM you my e-mail and have you send me that rom of yours? I'd like to see if anything seems off (keep in mind I'm no pro, still having issues myself).
One thing I did notice, ISCV values are sooooo not defined correctly. I copied my stock values into the evo rom, totally not the right thing to do. The tables don't even do what you think they should, anyway...that's all sorts of off topic.....pm sent.

I would set your idle to closed loop and cruising just set them to open loop from like 1000 rpm and 30 load. Tune your maps to be around 14.7 on the wideband, so much easyer and no more DTC's for trims. I have mine at 15.4 on the WB been fine, pulled the plugs and not too hot or too cold, perfect! and im getting better fuel economy for the long hwy trips, until you hammer down the pedal and see 11.5 hahah!

There is a "trim" for ISCV, and if it's out of whack the opposite direction, it's not going to work well at all until it relearns. You could try a ecu reset and the evo values for ISCV, then let it relearn for a day. Mine sucked at first then it really worked well.

I switched over to open loop today and noticed my AFRs hanging in the 13.5 area when the ecu load was below 45ish while cruising. Above that and the AFRs would hang around 14.0 to 14.3. Is this good for now and I just need to wrok on getting the AFRs to be 14.7 on the wideband.
i beg the differ. he's sucha huge sellout. he can drive yes but he cant rally. 2 best parts about the video is the person kicking him in the face and the end when it was over...
