I'm at rock auto trying to get the lower control arm and can't figure out the driver's side if it is the left or right side according to their website.

When they say lower left (right) is it when you are looking at the car or when you are inside the car??

Id just get it and the housing. Then you dont have any soldering todo or crimping.

ok so at idle my car currently idles lean (16.somethings) when I start moving it gets rich (like 10.0 to 12.5), if I continue to give it gas and go faster it leans out to the 14.3 to 15.6 range. Any ideas?? I'm about to start messing with the MAF tables to see if I solve this issue.

this is when I have the car in "P", when I put it in "D" it goes to the 12. section rich and when I start driving it leans out to the 14.3 to 15.6 range. Any ideas on what it could be. I have it in forced open loop.

I think either you should decrease latency, or adjust maf compensation. Latencies make a bigger different down low than up high, so you can change them, and they will make more of an impact on the smaller "idle" type values.

MAF scaling or MAF compensation table?? I know you said compensation above but every thread I have been reading regarding this issue says scaling, I want to make sure I'm changing the correct table.

The only guy I have talked at length to about this issue is RoadSpike, and he advised me to use MAF comp for those tweaks, and leave scaling stock. Changing scaling has a "see-saw" effect in my exp, but scaling feels more linear.

not maf scale size or the actual maf scaling table but just the compensation one? just wanna make sure we are thinking of the same thing.

That's what I've heard, from the power that beees. But, can you e-mail me your current rom, I want to see if it looks like something else is causing the issues.

You should be able to get everything reasonably close with proper injector scalign and latency, and then the fuel trims would only need to go +/- a few digits to stay in check....if they are constantly fluctuating, then that's because of MAF inconsistency, where it basically runs rich at idle, then lean at 2000rpm, then rich at 3000, etc...and so it's getting really odd results (the 02 feedback that is). Regardless, I wanna see what you're workin with here.

hey im not sure if your using the 440s yet but i finally have my fuel settings running pretty goot the worst i seen is +-8.

412 scaling.

.480 latency at 14v

but i wonder if thats going to be different between returnless and return fuel systems

I have my scaling way lower, and I think it's halfway causing issues. I'm going back to MAF to re-scale them, then back to speed density. I know some WRX's scale them at 420, and some at 380....so anywhere there that works well should be fine.
