well time to start saving for another manifold or get this one welded. It has a slight crack where the runners meet, right on the weld.

Sounds like the plan. Your manifold would require a modified down pipe right?

No more modified than what is done with the sc setup. All mine is custom so its tailored to your needs. I can make the manifold to fit the down pipe you already have

I was changing my valve cover gasket and the spark plug caps when I looked down and noticed the slight crack on it. It's still holding but Imma need to get it re-welded soon.

Nice! If mine cracks (which I AM worried about) ill hit you up.

Taking off the manifold, oil lines, ic pipe, intake is all a pain! Not hard, just sooo aggravating. It's like go on this side and undo this, now go to this side, now go to the middle, now get under the car...

Eventually it'll probably crack. Chase's new material is far better. Everything he's doing has been top notch. I'll get details as to what goes into a kit when I get mine.

The M.E. Kit doesnt require all that modification...the battery moves to the stock evo loction, and i provide the battery tray. Jake and I have worked alot on this kit. Everything is custom built to the cuatomers specs. Its functional and reliable.

Hoping its makes it for a couple of months so I can save up for Chase's manifold but then again winter is here and that might speed up the process with the snow and everything.

Chase I'll text you later on today when I get out of work.

This might also be a good time to look into upgrading some things or doing somethings better in the engine bay.

How about a diy engine bay dress up kit. I was going to surprise everyone here and bust it out myself but it seems like a good project for winter. $30 so it's inexpensive and looks good.

Since I will need to upgrade my suspension soon from the ksports, can anyone recommend any coilovers under 1k? Its my daily so I don't need any crazy set ups, just basic. I am not going back to stock or shocks and lowering springs.

yeah, I was thinking about them as well. I forget who said that ksport and megan run about the same material or are made by the same manufacturer but sold under a different name.
