thats what I was thinking. While driving back home the voltage was reading 14.9 to 15.0, occassionally 15.1. While at a light it would be at 14.6 to 14.8.

How hard is it to change the regulator? I don't want to drive around, cuz it will fry my battery from the higher voltage.

unless you have an older ford truck, riding lawn mower, or a tractor for the most part..... you will always have an internal regulator

no problem. about the only thing that will give you a headache like it did with mine is the bottom bolt that holds it in. that was a real pain to get out.....

come out...I can move the radiator up and down. I was able to take the nut off but the screw won't come out. I tried tapping it with a hammer and now I have to go the junkyard on saturday to get one off of a mirage to put in when this one decides to come out.

damn it, I left it soaking last night in wd 40. When I get home from work today I'm going to hit it again with wd 40 and hope it loosens up.

I like PB blaster myself, tri flow works good as well or "freeze it" penetration spray is great if its rusty

thanks for the suggestions guys, wd40 didn't do smack. Liquid Wrench did the trick. Altenator is replaced as well as rotors and pads.

Bad thing is I don't have my labtop so I can't continue tuning till Monday.

looking at installing the turbo xs boost controller, now i know how the lines go but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to mount it. I was going to mount it with a zip tie but the thing is the whole body turns to turn the boost up or down. Just looking for suggestions on how to mount it although I won't really be turning the boost up or down constamtly.
