Wow man That had to have been dropped or something. Honestly there is a big difference between spinning the turbo by hand and the turbo spooling up to 50K+ rpms. I would be pretty pissed too.

Its not so much the damage man, i can deal with that but when Rob told me something to the effect of parting ways that set me off more cuse of how much we have talked/ I asked of him over the last month. Yes Rob's in it to make money as a business but you dont make money without customers. I would say in the last month perhaps two I have spent over 3k with them and just find that not cool to treat someone like that. I dont think I have taken more then 3hours of Robs time. Anyways well see how this plays out tomorrow. I also am even more mad at myself for trying to be nice to Rob & paid by check so they wouldnt have to take the hit on CC fees for this as another way of saying thanks for there help/time with this project. Guess the nice guy really does finish last....

Damn! I'd be heated too! That in no way looks like ups damage. For something like that the box would have been comprimised.

I do remember you recently boasting about them and saying how great their service was. Sorry it turned out like this for you. It blows when you pay for something and they send you something something else. Trust me, I know. They did THE SAME thing to me, then to make it better they wanted me to eat the shipping and restocking fee! Umm...no I just wont buy from you guys again and suggest other companies.

I hope Rob does right by you but from my experience talking with him, he wont. Good luck.

Oh! And good luck tuning that thing without a piggyback!

Careful on badmouthing vendors, I know we aren't there yet, but that gets threads locked up like a steel trap.

RRM will fix it, they're just having a case of the Monday's or something. It'll all work out, nice guys don't finish last....they just don't finish way out in front of first place driving a bentley with 4 naked european girls riding along.

*EDIT* Oh...well an FP will get you naked girls in the car

Damn that sucks!! The turbo had a killer ding tho LOL I hope everything works out man. Not bashing the mods but the mods have gotten pretty lenient over the past few years here on the es/ oz section.

wish one of us here could sticky and unsticky stuff, clean up threads, etc....we're such redheaded stepchildren, right?!?!

So, you're getting a stock evo8 turbo from FP, right? not like, an fp white or green or something?

Should also add I love that how on RRM's site they list there 16g as "authentic"....last time I checked dictionary.com this was the definition of that....

not false or copied; genuine; real: an authentic antique.

Correct me if im wrong but did MHI invent the 16g? And if a Mod does read this. Its not bashing when you relay the info. I welcome Rob or anyone from RRM to comment on this. Im not saying RRM sucks im just saying this transaction went way wrong and seems to be the story with trying to get my car turbo'd. I have bought many other things from RRM and they have done right. Hell they still have my picture of the evo style grill on there site and I miss that thing but it went to a good home. Enough of me ranting....tomorrow shall be the day. Im pretty sure 03's almost excited as I am since we should be able to push 20psi on this setup. Higher if we had e85 around here...I think at this point I am done saying anything RE: RRM & the turbo till I hear back from UPS...thank god for credit cards i guess otherwise id be dead in the water without the FP turbo coming tomorrow. If that was the case I would be really upset.

Yup. The es/oz section really has changed since I first got on evom. Stickies would be awesome. I've had to really search for a lot of info on my own I'm also seeing some of the older turbo threads are gone THIS BUILD IS REALLY EXCITING THO I wanna see what type of numbers you put down Please keep posting pics too
