LMAO! Pulled his card!

I'm starting to get jealous that you are getting all these new car parts. Are those coil overs I see on there?

Also what rotors are those? Rrm or Rotora? Pads too?

@ Slater - I have no clue I was more focused on not going off the road since i was leaned back so could get a pic while driving of the dash/lights.

@Green - Wanna take your jealousy out on the guy who sold me the kit and tried to scam me Haha and yes they are coilovers. Tein SuperStreets. Rotors are Brembo slotted and hawk ceramic pads.

How does the magnaflow sound? Is it loud while the car is idling or just as you step on the gas?

Just an FYI didnt want to post a new thread but if you guys are buying OEM parts. Check out http://www.auburnvalleycars.com/ goto service-order parts. They have been for every part at least 10-20% cheaper than mitsuparts.com/net for all the oem stuff I have bought.

Not a huge update as didnt take many pix but thought would update. Went to 03lances place today we got the new oil pan tapped and ready for turbo and primed the block as well as installing the oil pan. Took a ride as well and now wanna get it done more then ever haha...

Also was passed by this on my way to his house... Ill take one please.

Pretty pissed at myself I bought a walbro off another member and being stupid assumed all 255's where the same...Long story short bought a gss341 and it was the wrong pump need a gss342. Not sure if the evo's use a 341 but now need to try and sell a brand new pump. Motor is going in next weekend. I am hoping we can get it finished early saturday so can log and make sure If we need to tune at all. Going to order the evo3 big 16g monday if RRM answers my questions as well as take a chance on the ebay water lines. I would rather cool the turbo with oil/water vs just oil if it has the ports. If they dont fit or arent useable ill just cap the water lines. I also was going to pick up spark plugs tomorrow. I know they are on other threads but is it the BRK5E11s? I think thats the numbers.

Im guessing no one but RRM can tell me, from RRM's site they say "These are brand new authentic turbos built to work with our turbo manifolds. These are the same turbos that are really used on older EVOs due to their quick spool up and 300+ h.p. capabilities. In layman's terms a WRC type turbo vs. a drag only laggy turbo.

Actuator $30(sold separately)

"

Im guessing the Actuator is the internal wastegate which isnt used with there setup since it has the tial 38mm. Not sure guess might as well ask if anyone knows the MHI pn's for the coolant lines for the turbo. Anyways end of the randomness for the night I think next weekend might call for video so dont have to stop for pix with 03's permission that is. It was great meeting up with him today and discussing all this and seeing someone with the knowledge and right tools todo this right from the start

It was a very productive day besides the pump issue and the *cough* oil pan bolts *cough* . Glad to finally meet you in person bro. You are correct the actuator will not be needed since you have the tial. As for the plugs you want bkr7, these are two heat ranges colder than the bkr5 which is the stock range.
Next weekend will be the start of an EPIC journey.

I can't wait to see what kind of power you'll be making with the built block.

What PSI are you going to be running at??

I bought a stock 9 fuel pump thinking it would be somewhere in between the flow of a stock pump and a walbro....but it didn't really fit. I'm betting if I cut my tank pump holder up, it could have...but I didn't wanna do that. Anyway, the Stock X pump sitting next to it looks just short enough to "drop in" perfectly, as well as 1 guy here says he has one and it fit (02-lancer-es I think).

Anyway, with this setup (high comp pistons, 16g turbo, nice free flowing exhaust, stock head) I bet you can run 15-17psi on pump gas before you have trouble with knock cause the gas can't handle it anymore. With e85 though, I bet you could go higher, but you'd want a "dyno tune" and you'd not be able to go on pump gas. Actually, you could flash "alt maps" onto the car, and then when you run e85, switch to alt, and then run regular the rest of the time, that'd be pretty nifty....you'd also need ECU controlled boost to do that, so even bigger tuning endeavor.

he could get a Turbosmart Dual Stage Boost Controller to be able to switch boost with the flip of a switch

I think 18 is what I am hoping for, mentally i would have liked 20. Here e85 is pretty hard to get. There isnt a station within 40 miles of me other then on the military base which I do have access to with my job but Its no where near on the way. Can you point me in the direction of why i would ecu controlled boost horn? If e85 ever starts to take off around here i think i would run alt maps since i almost always have my laptop with me.
