Well next weekend is the motor. Then the following 03 have prior plans and hopefully the following we put the turbo in and start tuning. Thankfully between his rom and stevens it shouldnt be to bad to get a safe tune out of the box. I forgot to also mention I sent my 440's out friday to get cleaned and flow tested and the shop offers for an additional $5 an injector to mod them for me which turns them to 740cc injectors if i recall.
Im hoping for about 8-10 hours for the whole swap which I think is reasonable enough time to do this. I like to give myself 2-3x that amount of time to account for pretty much any problems we may run into.

Just thought I would post some more pix of the oil pan and the intake mani i bought to port.

Looks like we will be starting this bright and early friday mornin now. Hopefully we will have it runing by night time and adjust any tuning sat.

FYI, RRM uses Evo 3 GT turbo's, it's a knock-off of an actual MHI Evo III Big 16G, spool is a bit laggier than the real Evo III 16g, from what i've heard, but it is basically identical to the real deal, and i have heard more good than bad about them, and the bad i have heard, seems to be a lot of regurgitated BS, i.e. friend of a friend's dad type thing. They can be purchased by themselves with actuators for around $330 new in box.

You lost me there cran please explain more. The cheapest True Evo3Big16g i found was forcedperformance for 550 shipped. I wouldnt expect a real to be any cheaper. The 200-300 are usually the knock offs which at this point a couple hundred bucks isnt worth the risk to me or hassle of having to replace it in 20k
that low angle created a kink in my return hose. a lot had to do with that it stuck out further then where the lines would line up.
the return flange on the turbo itself was a lot closer to the block then i expected it to be.

well i dont have a jack at the moment but i ended up just using a 90 degree and it works way better.
heres a pic when i had the 45 degree tho. in this pic i had it cut because i couldnt even get the hoes to fit right on there. the 2 return pipes will end up being not very far apart.
