Interested to see how this goes! I'm saving up for the parts to install my own too but it seems that the money I earn always disappears. It'll happen someday. Good luck!

Well I won't be putting the slave in this weekend it might be going in on the 28th depending on free time. I've also noticed what Burner was talking about. I T'd my boost gauge into the "U" shaped hose on the intake manifold and I haven't got my vacuum to go under -6. I should be able to hit close to 0 right??

I have a T on T lol. I have my bov T'eed off my FPR vacuum line. Then my boost gauge has been T'eed off that bov line. Been like that since day one of the turbo saga and never an issue.

I'm using the U shape line without a problem on my car. I have a slight vac leak but that just started happening.

Well maybe I'll leave it for now and when I turbo if I don't see a change I'll try a different area. Went out coyote hunting this weekend and my legs feel like rubber I didn't see anything but I had a fun hike.

can u tell me how much space you have between the turbo and the radiator? does the turbo have room to be moved forward (toward the radiator). I may be able to help with this problem for the 04-06 lancers.

I didn't even get to mount my down pipe. Maybe burner and slater have input????? I'm not sure if you can shorten the runners on manifold on the opposite side of the external slave and lengthen the ones near the external slave??? the wastegate would be on the short side so it wouldn't get any closer to the radiator too? basically twisting the turbo intake away from the external slave.

The speed corps manifold was designed to work with the evo downpipe. With an aftermarket radiator you get a lot closer to the radiator.

I can't say much about the tranny issues since I'm auto.

I might have missed it but what exactly was the question again??

You would have to do a custom ex. manifold. I don't see how you could alter the speedcorps one. Making the collector further to the driver's side, not too much though and then the downpipe wouldn't need much modification on it.

How much clearance do you actually need with the speedcorps manifold to make everything clear?? I know its pretty close but how much is actually needed.
