ya manual will always have a better chance - unless im like 500whp like the one evo that was here in IL for a little bit, i forgot that shop that made it, but it was automatic for the reason that it had like too much hp and was used for drag racing or something.

haha - but lets not take this thread anymore off topic - besides we are both lancers, no matter who wins, its still a win for the lancer family and im just glad to see more companies wanting to come out with products for our cars, props to RIPP for the first SDS for our car and RRM for first turbo kit that is bad *** for our car.

I just read through this entire thread...kinda quick, but went through it trying to find the answer to the CARB certification. Did I miss the answer on that? Did RIPP answer it? I'll be in SoCal (Santa Barbara County) by the time it get around to getting it, so that is gonna be kinda important...emissions is a big thing in Cali, right?...so to recap: Did the CARB cert question get answered and what was that answer?
<not being a *****, but that is the only thing holding me back>

Im not 100% sure, but i dont think RIPP has been on here in a while, so i will try and answer my best.

I believe the answer is NO it is not, but they are working very hard to get it CARB legal or whatever the term is, and its a very hard long process, but they are working hard on it.

Hope that helps out, and RIPP please correct me if i am wrong, just trying to get him a quick answer from what u answered with earlier

Thanks Bro...I plan on doing some engine mods...as much as I can do and keep it street legal. I can wait...I'm not planning on doing anything for atleast a year.

RIPP, we know you're busy keep up the good work...and if at all possible (this is by no means a demand)...if you happen to know or have a rough (even barely educated) guess on when you MIGHT be able to get the system CARB cert'ed (or legal, you know what I mean ) let us know...or me...or anybody
Rock on
