Cold air intake

I have a cold air intake that i dont think is getting cold enough air. If i ran it down to my bumper area would i would gain colder but would i loose power from how far the air mist travel?

your not going to lose power but your only going to get a little bit of hp out of it doesn't matter where you put it, it's nothing you can feel, not really worth the money
