Oil for turbo lancer?
If the weather is warm in Il, you might want to switch to 10W30, but I don't think that's your problem. Either you don't have enough oil in your engine, or the pump is having issues and needs to be warrantied out.
so how many turboed lancers have we had actualy break because of synthetic oil? just because one with synthetic oil blows doesnt mean it was the synthetic oil... i have only read of one motor with synthetic oil that has blown under boost, and to me, it was just that motor, not because of the oil. if synthetic oil is bad, what exactly is bad about the oil that makes the motor blow when boosted? what chemical or physical property of the oil is bad compared to dino oil? if you ask me, synthetic is a better choice as it withstands the temperature better when it flows through the turbo, the physical properties are the same as dino oil. so before you get pissed at people and tell them they dont know what they are talking about, back up your reasoning please.
