We actually got the fan in last night. We should be back to tuning today. We'll keep you all informed. Ask GURU how it feels to cruise up a hill at 8psi... god what a pulling machine!!

I actually wanted 10-11 and then i started seeing some knock and fuel issues. On a stock motor this isn't safe so i'm going to back it down. The big problem is that the Automatic is always under a constant load when you get on it. There isn't any release like a 5 speed has when shifting so the temps just climb and climb. I've kicked him down to 8.5-9 psi now and the car is running smooth with plenty of fuel.

As soon as i'm done tuning the car we'll post some logged pulls and est hp/tq numbers from the scan tool. Thanks for all the support guys.

Tuning Automatic is a ton of work. We hope by the end of the week to have a relaible fast tune but we will only release it when it is ready. Really ready.

indeed, yet another exciting night.

tonight i saw boost, and drivability increase with the tuning magic of boe.

lemme tell ya 9.0 PSI feels fantastic (and we are a touch rich so we are still working on it).

When it is right, really right, we will release it. Thanks Guru for letting us mash on your car and get this done.

no prob ROCK, the car will hit a dyno and strip only when the tune is fast and safe, and frankly we are far from done.

We got the drivability closer to how we like it but we still have fine tuning. RRM wont release a product early just to have it not be the best it can be.

Patience sometimes is best (even though I like being the test car cause frankly I can never wait).

I'll tell you the car was definately something... especially when you can floor it and ripp the tires off thru 2nd gear! All this on a 9:1 AFR... can't wait to get it to about 11:1 AFR!!

As for the release it should be done this weekend... but i'm sorry guys i'm going to delay it a month for release. Reason is i want Guru to drive it around and see if there are any driveablity issues with it... sometimes you find a magic area that needs some more love. After he's confident with it by that time i'll tell ROCK and he can release it whenever. Again Sorry but i just want everything perfect for everyone!
