Ouch. Some miragers who had totaled their cars were selling their MAF a lot less.
A 3g eclipse MAF averages 40 bucks from the salvage yard; if they are being *****, they'll charge you 60 bucks.
The idle is fixed but I'm still waiting on a MAF adapter and filter before I can actually drive it, but once those come in I will be boosting.
Damn that sucks about the price of the MAF, I asked on the board earlier in the week but most replies were to get one from the dealer. Oh well...
I'm just glad I got the bugs worked out

I drove it to work today for the first time in a month or so. I finally got some time to work on it. (I'm not boosting at the moment, but as soon as I get time to play with that digital fmu I should be going good.)
I'm still trying to figure out a problem with my vacuum though. On my GReddy profec-B it reads -35 at idle and after driving it today it would read between -36 to -45 idling and driving (while in 5th). My autometer boost gauge will sit at -9 and won't go past that in vacuum, but it shows boost just fine. I noticed my profec reading very high amounts of vacuum just before one of my pipes came loose a while back, but I've checked them all and they are clamped tight. It doesn't seem to affect the drivability or anything it just annoys the hell out of me. I've read that it should read around -18 to -20 at idle. I'm thinking I've got an air leak somewhere. I've completely taken my bov off and sealed its port so I know it isn't the bov causing it.
My bov is vta at the moment, because I've gotta come up with some way to recirculate without it looking rigged and I can't seem to find any kits. Does anyone know where I could buy just the recirc. kit for a GReddy type-s bov?

The update all have been waiting for! Or at least the 04 guys.
I am now BOOSTING!
I got my digital FMU working today. The first time I hooked it up I blew a fuse, so I thought the unit was bad. The other day I was checking all of my connections and found the blown fuse, but didn't have time to fix it that day. So today I reconnected everything and success! BOOST BABY! Now that I've gotten that Digital FMU working it keeps my a/f ratio nice and rich!
Here is the setup I now have.
T25 Ported Garrett Turbo - Internally Gated
Evolution 8 Intercooler
Custom Intercooler piping
Autometer A/F and Boost gauges
GReddy Profec B Spec-II Boost Controller
SPAL Slim Fan
MSD Inline Fuel Pump (Stock intank pump)
RRM Up/Down pipes (On stock manifold/header)
GReddy Type-S BOV
Aeromotive Digital FMU

Right now I'm running about 5 psi.
I'm not sure when I'm gonna dyno it, but it should be sometime very soon. I'm gonna have them look at it with their wideband and tune it for me.
