Well just to update I'm still saving for a manifold and down pipe. I've been emailing several turbo kit dealers to see if I could purchase just the manifold and/or the down pipe and have had no luck. Because of the way the oil drain on the turbo is angled I'd rather have the manifold/down pipe set rather than the up/down pipe set so that I won't have to modify the turbo to sit upright on the up pipe. If I can't find a manifold I will probably go with the RRM up/down pipe set. If anyone knows where I can purchase a manifold please let me know. Thanks!

I have resolved the oil drain issue by rotating the housing and bolting the actuator arm to a different location.

If all goes well boosting shall commence within the next couple of weeks...hopefully!

Here is a full list of my components, please tell me if you believe I should add anything!

Garrett T25 Turbo w/ Internal Wastegate
Evolution 8 Stock FMIC w/ pipes
GReddy Type-S BOV
GReddy PRofec B Spec II Boost Controller
HKS Turbo Timer
A/F Gauge
Boost Gauge
SS Oil Feed/Return lines
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
Valve cover air breather
Up/Down Pipes from RRM on the way <------- Last item

Could someone please tell me what I need to do about the MAF when installing this kit?

I think that you just need to put your MAF on the intake side of the turbo. Shouldnt be any problems with it there.

PMed ya

Do I need to modify it in any way? I know Hondas need check valves and such.

No modification on the MAF.

I don't know exactly how they use the check valves you're talking about, but you don't need one.

Cool, Thanks!

They just bleed off boost so that the ECU doesn't throw a CEL.

I don't see why you'd use a check valve. The wastegate is there to bleed off exhaust so you don't overboost, and the BoV is there to vent intake charge. Putting an opening on the intake side is essentially creating a boost leak. So basically you'd be bleeding out power.

Well I've run into another problem with my kit. If you haven't already checked my other post, the fuel system in the 04's is completely different than the 02-03 Lancers. The FPR is built into the fuel pump assembly and is going to require some modification to work with my turbo setup.

I was afraid of that. There is a big difference between the 02-03 to the 04. I am sure you can figure something out with some imaginative thinking. Good luck to you, let us know how we can help.
