Another Rattle thread.

Ok... I just finished dynomating my entire truck ( will post pics later) But I still have some rattles. I am trying to get the top of the back seat off. I was wandering if any body has done this? Please help out. I also have rattles on my trunk lid still. thanks for the help.

are the rattles on the trunk lid itself or is it the license plate or LP frame?

what sub/amp, how much power are you putting, etc...

if you are running a 1000 watt amp to 3 12" eclipses or some **** i think it's fair to say your car ain't gonna be rattle proof

I can almost garuntee that its the lock on the trunk or the licens plate mount. the licens plate mount is most likely plastic mounted with clips to the trunk and the lock mechanism has many parts that almost touch and will rattle like crazy. rubberbands come in handy here, just wrap them around the metal parts that move.

I have 3 10" MTX 7000's. W/ 1000 Watt MTX amp. I had to turn the sub to face front. It was just too much pressure for the trunk and rear deck. It help a little. I would concentrate on the rear deck and the plastic molding around the rear seat. That where I found most of my rattles. As far as outside. Nothing really takes it ALL away.

I have dynamat in my trunk also, plus there license plate frame. My rattle is coming from my wing. I measure it with my system on, and it gets about a 1/4" gap between the wing and the trunk lid. Might end up taking the wing off and putting dynamat between the wing and trunk.
