Not that i found when i installed mine, you can either drill a new hole and grommet yourself or go out the door boot and through the fender

There's one underneath where the glovebox is, and one next to your left knee on the drivers side next to the fuse box thingy that goes thru the fender.. it doesn't go "outside" the car though where it will get messed up or be visible, it does have a rubber grommet too. It can be ran from there right up under and come out near where the bottom of the windshield ends (but under the hood of course). I prefer the one under the glovebox; thats the one I use, and mostly everyone else does. The fender one is kind of a pain and hard to reach thru.

Next time use the search feature on the forums, this is been covered before.

EDIT: I'm blind, the grommett is there on the Evo IX too. It's really awkward to poke it out through the firewall though. After that, no problems.

You can run the wire across the engine compartment although I would not do this if you are planning on powering an amplifier that will power the front speakers as it will be more likely to have engine noise. I ran 0awg through the inner fender well and then into the gromet @ the kick panel and it worked great. If you are just gonna use it for a subwoofer amplifier then you would probably never notice the noise if it is present.
