Well, i gone and done it. I finally decided to upgrade my OZ's sound system. I went to Crutchfield and picked out an Alpine CDA - 9847 head unit w/ Infinity Reference 6012si speakers all around. I made this decision reading all the reviews ( and i mean ALL - whew ) and the fact that i can change the color of the buttons on the Alpine. Daddy likey.

I am really excited and will post pics when i get things in.

u will love that hu, I got the 9830 and I love it, the sound is crystal clear, and they give u a lot of control over the sound. Good choice on the speakers too, infiniti always has great speakers.

 

I've got last year's 9827 and I enjoy it. Hope the install goes well. BTW, will the Infs come with an adapter for the 6 3/4 ths space that needs to be filled?

Pulled it out of the box - okay....... how in the F*CK are you supposed to hook that all up ????

im guessing u're talking about the headunit, there is something called a "wire harness" which is basically like an adapter that let's u fit the car's harness to the wires coming out of the headunit.



and there should be a writeup on how to install headunits too..the lancer is a REALLY easy install. try finding the writeup.

Yeah thats a sharp deck, tho I went Kenwood Excelon. I do have those same 6 1/2s in my OZ, love em! They sounds better then my friends amped Fosgate 6 1/2s.


PS: What the he// is with akasirlancerlot flame? Alpine & Infinity are top of the line. (well, not compatition but who wants that in a dayly driver?!) Do Explain.

i had the same one in my old car..youll like it..its nice
