sub relocation
sub relocation
so i dont know if this is a good idea, but i was thinking about putting a sub in between the rear speakers. Maybe like a small 8 inch or something like that, free air sub, i would need to cut a hole and remove the childseat mounts but do people think its possible? Im not a big sub fan, but a little bit more clarity in the lowers would be nice, but also trying to save trunk space.
Is it possible ? Yeah sure anything is possible. Would it be worth it? Probably not, I have tried infinate baffle designs in several different vehicles with only mediocre results. Infinate baffle speakers want a whole lot of power and are not known for performance in a rear deck. From experience I have come to the conclusion that there are too many unknowns when doing this and butchering your rear deck is not a good thing to do if you are uncertain that you will even like it. IMO
yeah, i just wondered if anyone had done it, but now that i think about it, that metal would probably be really hard to cut through, and i didnt even think about those rods that make the trunk go up and stuff like that, i dont think it will happen, i guess ill just do somemore dynamat. i love that stuff
