can i put this in my car?

i found this little 6.5 inch sub and thought i could put it in my car? maybe a little sub box or something like that and bolt it behind the middle seat. Im not a big fan of taking my entire trunk for two 12, i just want a little more bass. i think its a goldwood.

im just wondering if i should take the time to make a small 6.5 inch box and if i could mount it behind the rear seat, or if this isnt a car speaker would it break faster, and what kind of box would i need, what size??

cause i have new 6.5 inchers right now a they produce a surprising amount of bass, and this is definitely made for lower ranges, look at the sixe of that magnet. i dont thnk i could use it like a free air though, so id ahve to make a box,

check into a JL 6W0. It is a true 6 1/2" subwoofer. I've been using one as a sub in the front of my car for a while now and I'm still shocked at it's performance. It will reproduce a solid 40 Hz and is still somewhat audible down to the 20 - 30 Hz range.

maybe i could stick a small box just above the rear struts, that front sub sounds like too much work, but in the trunk for such a small sub seems liek it would get drowned out, any more opinions?

Subs are cheap. What is the impedance? Some home woofers will need larger ported boxes and waste space. Get a single 10" and a small amp and you will likely get better results wihtout spending much $$$$.

Most home speakers are 8ohm and will not work properly in a car powered by an amplifier running @ 2 or 4ohm.
