well, with your stock HU you will need a RCA adapter, ill see if i can find one somewhere
aftermarket HU it just straight plugs in
15+ feet RCA cables
good quality 4 guage wire or bigger (preferably just go ahead and get 0 guage) about 20 feet
like 5 feet of ground wire
16 guage or bigger speaker wire
remote wire

i think thats it :P

^damn, how much do u think that will run me? I plan to use all monster cables for this if possible b/c I hear they are the ****. would it be wise of me to invest in a HU BEFORE i install the subs and amp, or would it not make a difference and be just as hard if I got a HU AFTER i had them installed?

well if you run 0 guage wire, the cheapest brand will work just as good as the most expensive
but if you buy good named stuff its gonna run you over $100

i got all mine for $80 but it was all stinger wire and no named stuff

i would get a HU because its just plug in and play for the amp and everything will sound better but as for installion it doesnt change anything

if you get a HU installed just have them run the RCA cables out of your dash and leave it on the floor so u can do the rest, or they will most likely charge if u tell them to do more

i couldnt find an adapter online, a local audio installation store would have them though

so for everything not 0 gauge wire, I should try and get good brand wiring? and wait until I get a HU before I install it all?

your amp will only take 2 so if you get 4 you will have 2 wires just hanging beside the amp, but it really doesnt make a diffrence
