ok, so I have everything I need now except some wires and a box. I just got the CDA-9856 in and it looks GREAT!
The box is the hard part now. I have strut bars in my trunk, so space is limited. I believe I need a dual ported/vented or bandpass box and if possibly, I'd like it to have an amp rack in the middle so I can mount that bad boy there too. any ideas?
THANKS SO MUCH FOR STICKING WITH ME! CANT WAIT TO SHOW U ALL WHEN ITS DONE!!!

yea, so feel free to jack my thread as necessary please. or atleast maybe have some common courtesy to say "hey, sorry for the OT real quick, but..."

anyway, It has good output, but i think it would blow the R's eventually b/c they are only rated to 1,500 a piece and that is 3200 right? I think it lacks quality too...

ok, I just bought...
THIS!...
...THIS...
and THIS!

now, I know I need speaker wire and what else now? also, I would love to do 0/1 gauge, but are u sure my alpine HU/amp/subs can take the 0 gauge or is it too big? or will I be ok with it fitting? HELP!
also, I was thinking of a completely Plexiglass box so I can show ff the R's from more than the front. what do u all think and should I buy a box or make it?

for your RCA wires, i didnt see anywhere that said oxygen free no noise... did you already buy them?
im not sure why you need a distribution block unless your planning on getting more than 1 amp... but thats what i use
the wire looks good, itl work fine in your car, you can never have to big of wire, just to small

haha and about the plexiglass, many people have though about that but its a big hassle being how flexible plexiglass is and it tends not to work very well and vibrates... but it can happen if you want it bad enough

yes i already bought all of that. If the RCA cable messes up, I'll just return it and ***** at them, but I think I should be fine. I got the block b/c I didn't know if I would need it when I get another amp for my speakers when I get them...but thats furthur down the road.

I need to know... How many FT. of remote wire, power wire, and speaker wire will I need and what gauge for each will work the best. I assume 1/0 gauge for power wire? And, can someone point me to a good option for a box? I have thought about making my own. If the plexi is a bad idea, I'll stay away, I just wanted to show off my magnets and all.
