subs facing back of the trunk so i don't kill the people in the back seats and I can see them thump with the trunk open. The strut bas branches into a ">" and on the right another "<" so the bar looks like this.. ">----<" so I will have to made it a few inches wider as I get to the outside of the box. buto ther than that, just a standard sloping box so my subs are not at a 90* angle with the trunk but instead have a tiny upward slant pointing towards the people outside, not their crotches. Thanks for helping again!

alright, so we got 2 subs firing out the back of the trunk with a 10-15 degree up slant? so you dont want much trunk space and you dont want people to see the strut bar

well, your 1/2 right. If i put the box infront of the strut bar, ppl will not be able to see it anyway and its too big to go behind the bar. I think if i put it over the strut bar with will SAVE more trunk space than if i went infront of it. what do u think? i hope i'm doing this the best way i can. LMK if u have ideas bene.

ok, the bar is exactly 1 inch in diameter. The notch in the bottom will have to be exactly 3+1/2inches up into the box with atleast 1inch at the top to fit the bar, might need 1+1/2 inches.
The trunk length is 38inches long so the box will need to be 38inches long with 13+1/2 inches from the top of the trunk until u hit the bar, but that doesn't really matter b/c the notch will be on the bottom of the box.
From the far back of my trunk to where u hit the strut bar is 3 inches, so the notch will need to start exactly 3 inches from the back of the box. Also, the back of the trunk almost startsto slope inward about 5 degrees so i might need to make the back of the box slanted so it will fit up againstthe backside tighter.

LMK if that helped any and I think I have a good idea now of what my dimensions are. what the best materials to use when doing this?

how about from bar, to backseat, and bar to frame

do you want the enclosure on the sub or the sub sticking out the back (not recommended)

yes, i measured from the frame then to the bar is 3 inches. that should leave me with some room in the middle where there is no frame behind the box to work with wires and such and will not be seen anyway, b/c it will be flush with the frame.
PM'd u back

quick question... for the remote amp turn on, I would need some kind of switch right? do I need to pick one up and can I custom mount it somewhere?
