Thats all I can tell you. Your going to end up spending more money on security than the system is worth.

I would keep the alarm, do that back=up battery for it. and hope lol.

Alarms are really not much these days. They go off everyday and people don't seem to care. They are just like "eh"

But, if you have the money, those are great ideas. Seems to be a big waste of it, but it's all your $$$

p.s. All I did with my system, was Alarm, and shaved the trunk key hole. You could probably do that. But shave the doors as well. IDK to be honest, sorry I couldn't help alot

also if you're performance minded, you could save quite a bit of weight switching the glass to hard lexan.... still breaks but take more time, blows, and force. And if you're at home at night (when you're most likely robbed), you'd hear it before they broke. Just plan to spend $$$$, frequently since lexan scratches very easily.

EDIT: well the weight savings wouldn't match much... take 10lbs off you add 100 in the trunk, ha.
