Yeah I could do that with my spare wood...that or maybe ill just say the hell with it n fiberglass something! haha Either way I guess I'll have to figure something out...
As for the kinfe/roller, I ordered directly from Fatmat and it was supposed to come with them but I guess they forgot about it. I emailed them about it when I got the package butIm at work and cant check email yet. I made a homemade roller here at work today

Well as I promised, here are some pics...
I don't have the ANL fuse on yet, just because I haven't had time to put it on haha.
New negative terminal and negative to chassis ground:

Alt and Amp power wires:

Positive connections:

Engine to chassis ground:

Fatmat (Not complete yet and I had to go to work today so I put the tire and jack in
):

looks awesome man! i like that the wire is actually black, making it look stock! FatMat looks good too, looks liek my trunk when I had all my covers off haha cant wait until it is all complete!!
I see. Everything is coming together. Good work on the dynamat. I took a look at your ride yitzac1990 at cardomain. I guess I'll have to do the same and dynamat the whole trunk lid not just under the cover. I took care of the cover area and stop there cuz I too din't want my trunk to look bad. But I guess I'll have to sacrifice the good looks for better sound. I'll probably FatMat that to. F... it. lol
wait a minute is that the FatMat on the las pic?

yes that is the fatmat on his last pic. and on the 08-09 lancers, there is a cover for the trunk lid, so you can fatmat right under that. its just sticking out on mine because I wanted as much as possible to be covered, didnt really care for looks all that much. just use a marker or something and trace where the cover goes and keep the fatmat inside that line
Ok new question
Im trying to figure out my voltage for my system I will be putting in so I can use a DMM to set my gains.
I think the equation is:
sqrt(amp WRMS x sub impedence)
If the subs are dual 4 Ohm VC's, is that a 4 ohm impedence or 8?

1 ohm load at amplifier:

4 ohm load at amplifier:

you definitely want the 1 ohm load, because then you can use the full potential of the amplifier. (less resistance - 1 ohm - equals more power to the subs!)
Well what I mean is, I want to know the voltage that my system will be producing so that I can use a multimeter to set the gains on the amp.
Here is a link referring to what I am talking about:

Basically I want to set my gains to match my headunit

For that I normally do it by ear. With a multimeter you'll get a "save" voltage reading from your head unit, but you'll not be happy with the results. Your bass volume will be low and you'll find your self turning up the volume for it to be louder than what the multimeter told you to set it at.
This is the way I do it. Turn your gain down all the way. Then turn up the volume from your head unit until you start hearing distortion from your door speakers. If your max volume is at 40, you'll probably hear distotion at around 28 or so. The rest of it is just space. So now that you know at what volume your system can handle, you can start turning the gain up. If you can disconnect the door speaker from the head unit. Or just turn the trible and mid all the way down so you can hear just the bass when you start turn up the gain. Let's say your volume before distortion is at 26, keep the volume there and turn up the gain slowly, because now you want to find where the distortion starts from your woofers. To find out when distortion kicks in, listen to the bass when turning up the gain and when you hear a sudden of loudnest, you'll have found it. kinda like booooooo(right here)OOOOOOOOMMMM. Right there where it gets loud. And thats it. Might want to use a bass CD with a 50Hz sine wave when doing so. You can down load it from here.http://www.realmofexcursion.com/main.html at the "downlaods" page.Remember that a little distortion wont hurt your system so you can turn the volume a bit more.
Thats how I do it. But If you want to use the multimeter I'm sure theres a site you can go and punch in the amount of watts your amp got and the impedance from your speakers and automatilly gives you your voltage level. I just don't remember where. If I find it I'll post it. But believe me most people end up turning the gain up cuz it just ain't loud enough. Where's an expert when you need one. lol

There it is http://www.caraudio911.com/tutorials...et/voltage.htm
CAUTION!!!
I forgot to mention that becareful when you do it my way, cuz you can blow your woofers if you turn the gain to much. Listen carefully for the distortion.
