Definitely the kit to go with, saw the Metra on a few cars and they ALL had fitment issues.

LOOOKks good so a few questions does your handsfree system still work and the volume controls on the steering wheel?

 

i don't have the hands free setup, so i can't confirm...but i'm reasonably sure it does.

 

no you lose all steering wheel controls and bluetooth unless you buy a steering wheel controller.....but even if you do that, bluetooth still will not work.

 

metra kit is horrible. gap issues at the top. waste of money. trying to decide if i want to buy the scosche kit or go through the trouble to find an OEM double din.

 

does the mmcs fit with the scosche dash kit?

 

nope can be modified to fit im sure but it wont be easy at all.

 

The Scosche is definetly better then the metra dash kit but Ive heard that the JDM one is the best by far with fitment but its also three times more expensive I think its $240 but it depends on the yen because its straight from japan.

Is the steering wheel controller worth getting?

 

question what type of wire between the radio and the hazard control i can't find it it parts section in mitsubishi the white one, cos looks like i lost all the illumination lights theres no orange light in the night anymore. but all fuses works stock radio works and all the function besides the illumination lights. i need help

 

IIRC: it is a standard computer cable (ribbon cable). Count the pins and go on line...

Another person did ask this before - so search the forum for the answer (I don't have a link, sorry)...

If I can find my old ribbon cable - I will let you know.

 

Bought the metra kit... HATE IT. Figment gaps everywhere, forces my radio to tilt out of position...

Yup. Go scosche or jdm.

 

I Did the single DIN setup with the Scosche. definitely will be upgrading to a Double DIN overall fits good and uses stock radio bracket as well
