Kill Switch

What kind of switch do you use if you wanted a fuel kill switch? I went to Radio Shack and they had switches that are rated @ 6A, 3A, 25A etc. Which would be best for a fuel kill switch?

Cut it before the fuel pump relay, and you don't need a huge switch with tons of power handling. Just cut the signal that activates the relay.

Don't ask me where/what color/ or how to tap it. Look it up in the wiring harness diagrams.

So it really doesn't matter which type of switch I use?

I believe in order to do some type of racing (drag or road racing) you are required to have an easily accessible fuel kill switch for safety reasons.

So it doesnt matter which switch I pick? Like I said before, some are rated @ 6A, 3A, 25A etc. I just don't want to have a switch that can't handle the electrical current to the fuel pump.
