Kill Switch
Kill Switch
I'm getting a kill switch put into my Lancer (I live in Vegas, so yeah... better safe than sorry). Only problem is that the place I'm getting it done at specializes in Honda's. So my question is where can I get the circuit diagrams for things like the ignition, fuel pump, and ecu. I'll look around town to see if anyone else can do it without the hastle, but I really trust the guys I'm getting it done at.
Trust me, they're a very well known, high-quality shop in Vegas. Only thing is, they're Honda Professionals. They could probably figure it out, but they're probably just trying to keep the cost down.
Well our car isn't a Honda and I live in Vegas and if it's the shop I'm thinking of, cars get jacked near there all the time because they know shivics will be in there. Take it else where or wire it yourself. I'd be more than happy to help you out on it. I'd just get a full alarm system as well as the killswitch and a lowjack sensor if I were you if you are that worried about it. I just keep a close eye on my baby. Sits under my window at home and I check every noise, sits outside my work office so I can keep an eye on her there, and if I have to park far away from something, I make sure I get in and out of where ever I am quickly.
^yeah, its the place you're most likely thinking of. I already have an alarm on mine, but every little bit helps. My car is garaged so I'm not worried about theft at home, but its things like hanging out and doing things like seeing a movie that scares the crap out of me. If anything, I might hit up Acme2 or Fresh image. I know they do killswitches too.

Wait a minute, I just came to the realization that you're a Lancer enthusiast in Las Vegas. You're a member of LVRacingscene... right? Me and a couple other Lancer enthusiasts are trying to get other Lancer enthusiasts for a little meet or something in that nature.
Not exactly sure if the mitsu's work this way but its easy enough to checK
If there is a clutch sensor switch on your clutch assembly all you need to do is interrupt it.
Most M/T cars will not start unless the clutch is engaged. If you disguise this well enough alot of wanabes arent going anywhere. Heck even alot of real criminals might miss the easy things. Of course if they put your car on a flatbed.... adios....
