i know bazooka makes fairly decent subs but i really haven't much or really any experience with bazooka amps. has anyone tried them or know if they are any good.

do yourself a favor and get a reputable brand. a guy i used to go to school with swore by boss amps that he got at the swap meet. they were total crap.
if price is an issue try ebay, they got lots of good prices on quality brands especialy if that brand has a new line up the old models will be super cheap.
i watched ebay for bout 2 months and got a 600watt xtant amp for 125 bucks.
its not the best amp ive had and its not for SQ freaks but im happy with it
