screw that, you win the lottery you better buy a damn turbo, have it professionally installed, do out your internals professionally, and then some...oh and buy me a turbo. j/k. you'll be very satisfied with the piggyback.
Im gonna spend the money in this soon, i just hope im not one of the people coming back to the forum saying i dont see a difference or other problems. But im less afraid of the other problems cause i know rrm will try and help me out.
Chummer & Joseph:
I installed the pb2 yesterday. So far no Idle issues or CEL. No noticable performace either.
I'm sorry, but I think there is a problem. Before I sent the pb2 to get reflashed, there was such a difference that I absolutely loved it.
RRM - I've re-learned it, I reset the connections, This is not the performance I had before, please advise...

Seems like just 02-03 guys with issues. Akasirlanderlot is coming tomorrow with his OZ-02-03. We need a non turbo car to play with and sort it out. We are all over it like....

ok I'm about to hook my PB up, it didn't come with instructions this time and i forgot the wire colors so I'm looking at that then when its up and running I'll let you know if its still good. I have an 04 though
^ the 04s are not the problem its us pesky old school dudes.
well, i just got home and i will be serving as the guinea pig for us 02-03 guys, i went down to roadrace and we tested it out for a couple hours.
boe and rock are hard at work on maps that will serve u alll well. were trying to find a happy medium of power gain, throttle response and a decent idle..
so i have the first of three maps we will be testing out
the first is a very nice boost in power... i must say i was all smiles on the way home. (1 hour drive) and the idle is lumpy. it may or may not smooth out, but i will be waiting to see the results. theirs was no cel on but i was pulling in my driveway and it flipped on, this may have nothing to do with the pg however because mines been going on and off about something else for a while. i just need to handle it.
see for some of you who sent it out for the reflash, it came back with a different map that idled well, yet it wasnt too peppy. now we'll be sifting through the maps to find out whcih one is best for us.
ill keep u guys updated, as the learning proceeds. ill let you know about idle ect etc.
stay tuned and know THAT RRM IS DOING WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.

Thats exactly what I was saying, after being teased with such a huge difference in performance, getting it back with the idle fixed lowered the performance to the point that I don't feel it!
