Rock, I've had the piggyback on now for 70 miles. Idle still dips sometimes to almost stall and it feels boggier at the low end than before. Any ideas? Should I just up idle a bit or wait another 30 miles or so?

Raise the idle 200 rpms. That will resolve it.

Exclamation Blink!

Day4(170miles later) of PB2.0. My idle problem has changed to a check engine light. As i pulled into my parking place at work this morning. *blink* it just came on. Any ideas? I'll have the code pulled tomorrow after work. (i hope). Thanks for the help.

I'm also on Day 4 (~150) miles. I haven't uped the idle yet to try and fix the low, lumpy idle due to the fact that I'm trying to troubleshoot another problem. I seem to be running really rich. The reason I think so is my exhaust tip is covered in black soot. In the 16 months I've had it on the exhaust, it's never been covered with close to this much soot. I didn't want to worry about it much till after the piggyback install since I knew the piggy would lean out the fuel curve and hopefully solve my problem. Well, it hasn't. The tip is still getting just as black, the car backfires all the time and the idle is still lumpy. I decided to pull the plugs and try and get a better idea what is going on. I've taken pics of them all and need some help interpretting them since i don't know much about what it means when the plug looks a cretain way. Any and all help is appreciated.

Right most plug (* * * X)

Left most plug (X * * *)

Second from Left (* X * *)

Second from Right (* * X *)

I really want to get to the bottom of this and enjoy the full capabilities of the piggyback. :help:

Call me tomorrow. There is a hook up issue or something .You would not be running lean. Call ask for Rob. If I am not there, leave your number. I'll call you. We will troubleshoot over the phone.
