I'm not saying I don't believe it.

I would just like to have seen the difference in the tunes on a dyno sheet.

Ok, maybe you can't show the dyno sheet, but could you at least tell us how much gains over a non-pb car with similar mods as you have?

I'm gonna try and get to a dyno this month or next. I've done enough to the car now that I think it worth the time/$$ to dyno it. It'll give a good milestone as to what I've done and where I should go from there. Can't wait to get the piggyback in on Monday when it's schedule to be delivered. I can definately feel the lack thereof in the car now.....

Z if possible... do some sort of quick connection on the red/white wire. That what you can switch it to direct and then to intercepted really quick during they dyno.

Most dyno's will give you 2 pulls so if you can do the swap in between it would be great... later you could go back and solder it in but there's a lot of guys that would like to see the difference.

Sounds good. I'll hook it up like that then. Just to be sure - so after I hook up the piggy and go through the whole learning process with it, I can then disconnect it and do a regular pull and then I can plug the red/white wire back in and do another pull without having to relearn the piggy? The car/ECU retains the first map as well as the piggy? I always thought that disconnecting the power lead would reset the map and cause you to have to relearn it and everything.....

I would think the ecu would have to relearn, but I could be wrong.

There would be some learning so back to back dyno might not be very accurate. Regardless, if you feel it in your *** more than your wallet then you know you can;t live without one.

Z what are your current mods? i was thinking about dynoing my car too.

i got my piggy reflashed and put back in a few days ago. idle is rock solid, can't even tell it's installed until i put my foot down. befor it was a bit lumpy. i don't know how i lived without it.

The performance mods that I have that will affect the dyno are:
*RRM v.2 Header
*Bored Fuel Rail
*Ported Intake Manifold
*AEM CAI
*2.5" Pressure Bent Catback piping with a 2.5" Magnaflow MagnaPack Resonator and a Universal MagnaFlow Performance Muffler

**RRM V.2 Piggyback w/ reflash

It will nice to see how these have all helped me when I get on a dyno

you guys are cracking me up...

Z learn the piggy to car and dyno with piggy installed first...
Then disconnect and do pull.

ROCK is right in that it won't be the most accurate but you should see a decrease in power for sure. More loss would be experienced if the car had a chance to relearn to stock perameters.
