hey blaze how'd you get the software. They wouldn't sell it to me and i tried hard. Hell RRM's even being stingy to me. I'm gonna have to travel down there and see if i can get it via some smooth talking.

 

i almost bought it, just didn't follow through. just call up split second and ask to buy it. not too hard really and its pretty cheap (i wanna say 50 cause I think thats what I was quoted)

Seriously, I did everything up to give them my credit card number. I mean, they want you to have the software, trust me they want to make the sale

 

Already dissatisfied with the performance? It took me at least 3 tries with the Ver 1 before I sold it.

The ver 2 PB just came out.

Got a hold of another SplitSecond Reseller. You know... the kind that doesn't really care if you have it or not. I understand why RRM doesn't want people to get it, they're trying to protect their own work and they're trying to protect customers against them-self poorly tuning the box. And that's why I probably won't be tuning it my self. We have very well known shop in town. They've got the fastest DSM around(9.??) and the car is still street legal, so I might see what they can do for me. If that doesn't work, well Montreal will be my second option, and Toronto will be my 3rd.

This is a little OT but have you dyno'd the new piggy to see where the A/F ratios are?

How rich do you think it is running? or do you have a wideband O2?

No i havent dyno it but i can smell the fumes and no wideband . Buy today save tommorrow on the ecu

 

Fumes? Your problem might be different than what you think. The piggyback leans the fuel map hence why it provides better gas mileage. If you can smell fumes, you'd have to let us know what kind of fumes... it could be an exhaust leak getting in the cabin

 

Some people claim to know when a car is running rich by just taking a 'whiff' from the exhaust, some can even tell what octane you are running .
noriceoz, how are the fumes at wOOt?

 

I can to.... but only in extreme cases... but I can't tell you what Octane you're running...
