To say the piggy doesn't adjust timing is technically wrong.
To say it doesn't adjust timing directly but has an inherited effect on it due to the modification of the MAS signal is correct.

ehhhh, call me a softy. i'm not completely fond of posts implying anothers ignorance. i also don't know how familiar you guys are with each other, so that could be my bad. but anyways, i got a lightweight pulley today so i'm happy.

oh dear...long night --> on the way home tonight from playing at a coffee house my car went haywire. literally would not maintain an idle. i had to restart the car 4-5x's at one traffic light. reset the PB ECU and i was good for the rest of the ride until i pulled in the driveway. it's been in the car over a year with out problems, i have no mechanical problems, nor have i played with anything under the hood recently.
do you think this is related to the PB ECU?

I recently purchased a piggyback for a 2002 auto lancer and I wanted to know which version it was. I was told that there is a number located on the front of the piggyback and that the number can determine the version. The number on my piggyback is PSC1.
