Question Reset auto Tranny?

As you probably know our crappy tranny is supposed to adjust to the driving style of its primary user. I read on a different thread that it can be reset? If it can I thought it might be a good idea to resent mine now that it is pretty heavily modified? Does anyone know how to do this or have any suggestions on this topic...good or bad...can or cannot do?

that's how you can tell that it worked. otherwise, you probably didn't leave the battery disconnected long enough. how did it work out for you? are you happy with the way it shifts now?

when you do this do you need to drive around slow like you do when you install the piggyback? or should you hammer on it to get the tranny shifting like you want it?

start slow and work your way up. let the ECU adjust the fuel first. after a couple minutes of idle + driving rev it up a little higher. just be careful. the car is still learning.

personally, i reset my PB ECU every time i get either a new breather mod OR anything having to do with fuel. it just allows me to rest assured that everything is nice and happy under the hood. it's not totally necessary though. i just feel the car runs a little smoother that way.

Well, I let the car idle for a good while then started off slow for about 5mins and went down the unofficial track here lol, its about a 2 1/2 mile level flat newlypaved straight away...did a couple turn arounds and runs 2 ~120 , third gear definitely is better now and the shifts are a little quicker but go closer to redline when I keep it to the floor. I also made a little custom grounding kit and I guess that helped toward something...

I duuno if i was just to hard on my tranny to start or what, bought car brand new. Im auto and when i mash it it will go all the way to redline (around 6200 i think) before it shifts everytime.....
