Lookin for some performance

I currently own an IX but, my little bro has the new 08 lancer and is lookin for a little more power. i notice rrm seems to be dominating this car so far for mods. i saw an injen intake...big money btw and dyno results show a max increase of 10hp 10tq.... are there any other products out there other than rrm and alot of people are happy with their rrm products it seems, so that may be the way to go, i just have had some problems with carbon trix myself but if its good and people are happy i jus had a mishap possibly...

guessing best bang for buck would be intake then maybe pully then exhaust then piggy?

also hate to ask all this but what kinda gains are you seeing with the piggy it just says large....

Appreciate the info guys sorry, but i dont know too much about products for this car.

Well i have the piggy pully and axle back from RRM and then the fujita sri. The piggy i havent noticed a lot of gain since i put it on... i am going to do some mpg test this summer with it on and off.... the pulley made a diffrence in acceleration and when you get more air in and out of the engine faster that is always a plus. The axle back doesnt sound ricey or loud which is a huge bonus for me. The sri sounds cool... might mod it a little for more cold air but thats down the road..... hope this helps

RRM and Works are the big shops on the 08. Other than that, you just have one or two parts here or there (like Injen and Fujita).

Gains are hard to say. Dyno results are all over the board. Don't expect a lot N/A, though. Just be realistic about it.

Yeah, there's not much.

Power - RRM, Works, Injen, Fujita, GReddy & HKS
Turbo kit - RRM in production
Suspension - RRM, Works, Megan, Eibach
Body kits - Accolade, Extreme Dimensions
Bling parts - RRM

Just off the top of my head. There's a decent parts list that'll keep you plenty busy, but I'd say that there's lots more to come in the future.

kinda sounds like rrm is the only person whos actually trying to make parts and doing R&D.... works has exhaust and a drop in which anyone can do for any car without r&d injen and fujita just have an intake....hope more people jump on the train and make some parts

They've had an exhaust in production for months. There's videos on YouTube of a guy with a prototype model. Just tossed the name in on the chance they ever release it...

EcuTek would be way better than a piggy. But no one has done any R&D into it that I know of. I just know that a looooooong time ago, Sean Ivey mentioned that the 08 Lancer would "probably work with EcuTek."
