Deep vs Loud, w/ or w/o resonator?
iv had the HKS High Power Axel back and the Greddy Ti-C..... the HKS has a nice low deep tone to it but not that loud..... The Ti-C has the more traditional sound to import cars and its alot louder compared to the HKS

the WORKS exhaust sounds good because it is literally just a pipe, no muffler at all.....surprisingly, I have heard 08 lancers with straight pipes from the cat back that sound really good. I say if you want it done real nice, buy a 2.5" inlet muffler and do a custom catback with no resonators using the muffler you buy. if its too raspy, get a 2.5" resonator welded in. shouldn't be too expensive! Also, I suggest spending the extra money and getting an HKS muffler, or at least a Megan. What I have found, is stay away from flowmaster! haha Also, my friend has a Greddy SE axle back, and it does sound really good, I just dont like the physical look of it, but thats just me. I believe before that he had either the Injen SES or Greddy Ti-C axle back, and it sounded really rice.....

i have the injen SES axleback and injen CAI for cvt. i'd say its not too loud compared to other cars with exhausts out there. it definitely satisfies my need for sound and the look of it is not bad too. burnt diagonal cut tip. it mite get a bit loud inside the car when coasting at low rpms, but higher up it sounds awesome.
