Hey guys, I'm going turbo within a week and would prefer to be able to flash my stock 2003 Lancer Es AUTOMATIC TRANNY Ecu at my own pleasure, I am not exactly sure what I will need to do it though, I am new to tuning however I do know people who are experienced and can show / teach me.

What cable / software do I need to flash my ecu? I know I will need a laptop (which I have)

I know it's a Tactrix cable correct? I'm not sure which one though...

also, is the software I use called OpenECU?

And another question.. where can I purchase the cable on Tactrix's website & also find the software?

 

The software is ecuflash and openecu is where you can aquire it. Look around on the forums FS threads for the 1.3 universal or mitsubishi specific cable, both are equally as good.
