instead of getting the 1G turbo elbow for the throttlebody, head by roadraceengineering.com and get a 60mm throttlebody flange and weld on a flat or 90 degree elbow pipe to it. the stock 1G throttlebody elbow tapers down to a smaller size and is kinda awkward at something like a 45 degree angle.

60mm isn't all that big from 55mm as that's how big the RRM one is and there's some gain from it.

AirQuez and Bahamut: is there an upgraded g93 fuel rail out?

This TB elbow is a bit better than the 1g.

Upgraded fuel rail? Well, no. The G93 runs 210cc injectors, and it won't help our cause since it's very fuel conservative by its nature.

The only problem with that TB is that it is magnetized steel, so it will rust unless you powdercoat it or something. But I am also running that upgraded elbow (albeit rusty) and it is much better than the 2G or even the 1G, in terms of flow potential.

Like bahamut said, no upgraded fuel rail for us G93 guys. I havent heard of much people starving for fuel though; guess that is why the big boys (RPW, RRM etc) havent invested any time into a bigger rail.

i read that the fuel rail doesnt need upgrading on teh 93 until you are pushing 400whp or more.

I don't believe the G93 needs an upgraded fuel rail, unless someone is shooting to clobber Lisa Kubo's effort in the import drag scene or aiming for +500 flywheel HP.

RRM has an upgraded fuel rail.

Yeah like bahamut said, I know of two guys around the 400whp range and they are still running stock fuel rails.

ok interesting, must have been an isolated incident then, but really 400whp is way more than any but a small handful of ppl will ever see in the 93 really. and only one person in the 94 is close to that mark (so he says) but he upgraded his so i dont know if it was out of necessity or what.

So, back to topic and my other OT:
1) I don't think that just the PNP is giving +38 WHP anywhere in the powerband. My guess is maybe 15, but I have yet to measure it because it's been icy and I use a PDA road-dyno. And while it's entirely true that there are different ways to port a head, and that some ways are better than others, comparisons between the best and worst (that will still run, that is) only varies by about 5WHP.

2) Any news on the twins? the race fund groweth, and while I'm sure that cams/gear/springs are first, it would still be nice to have an approximate release date and price.

it will- eManage is the RPW fuel management system of choice. The Haltek is the standalone of choice. I'm not worried about it

so mike, you don't personally know if the 4g93 manifold and TB actually do fit and work as of yet, its just speculation? and yet you have the gall to mock my purchasing decision by going with a rrm bored intake manifold and TB

i honestly hope it does work out for you, but honestly dude, maybe you shouldn't count you eggs before they hatch.

edit: sorry its this is OT, i don't really know what is ON TOPIC anymore

Why would any lancer owner want to use smaller TB off the G93? It's 50mm while the G94 should be 52mm like the 4g64 (throttle cable facing the firewall) on the 3g eclipse RS/GS.

I believe the 4G94 TB is 60mm. Or at least RRM claims it is. Their site says that the TB upgrade is bored out 5mm to 65mm.
