if it idles low steadily (around the same roms all the time), then raise it up to around 700-800. oh and I've had my intake on for quite a while now and it has never caused a problem with the rpms

it definately has to do with the recall. so far most of the people having the problem have done the recall...i'm going to call either the owner of the freehold mitsu or mitsu corporate and tell them i want a new ECU...this is really crap. the two times i went in for a recall they messed up my car worse than it was before it went in.

ANYBODY who has had a problem with RPM hang or ANY OTHER PROBLEM related to the ECU reflash from the latest recall please PM me. I have an appointment with mitsu to get the car looked at again. If they can't fix it (or just wont), I have the number for the main Mitsu Headquarters and I plan on making a phone call to get things straightened out. If I can accumulate a list of lancer owners with ECU problems related to the reflash/new software involved in the latest recall it would be greatly beneficial to us in an attempt to get new ECU's. If you could please PM me with your basic information (name, address, phone, year of car, performance mods list) and a description of the problem(s) you are experiencing I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. I will keep you updated on how things work out with the dealer. My appoinment is first thing Monday morning. Any questions feel free to PM me.

they said in another thread that if enough people have the problem and contact their dealer and the dealer makes a report about it, then mitsu will have to come up with a "fix" for it.
