fastest US lancer?
GRIS has a fast lancer.... running at about 13's on the strip... though he had a problem with his pistons afterwards (at 11psi!!!) but still... i think he's one of 'em together with me and boe.... im running mid-low 14's in 1/4.... so far i only had my spark plugs changed and that's it...... just kidding haha
well my times sucked cuz of traction problems cuz i'm not lucky enough like boe to have an LSD
but i managed to beat 3 different WRX's, a mustang 5.0 and newer GT and various hondas and acura's.
last dyno in october:
201 wheel hp
211 wheel torque
best slip time was 15.4 burning out first and second
with grip expect mid to low 14's

zlancer what a sucky slip time... liquid pulled way better with same traction problems you had...https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...highlight=14.6
Not knocking you but you must have been really smoking the hell out of those tires. If you are pulling a newer 4.6L GT you are in the mid 14's as they run around 14.6-14.8 stock from what i've seen. Thus you are better than that 15.4! What boost you running producing those #'s. Just ask cause i've yet to dyno mine at 7lbs and i've done the head and intake manifold as well. Anyway, as i've said not knocking you but the clutch and traction probs need to go to improve that time... yikes!

boost at 8 psi. and traction was really bad. everyone at the track was actually doing bad because it was one of the last days in the season and they didn't really prep the track too good so it was pretty damn slick. to give you an idea it probably would have been better if i started out in second gear.
oh yeah and the clutch does slip a little between 5k-6k rpm....so my HP output might be even more.

Dude now i really want to know what i'm pushing. If you did that at 8lbs and i've got my engine done the way it is and Good clutch i should be right there or higher even though i'm only doing 7lbs. I may go dual stage soon as well. Just need to get some intake and exhaust temps at 9lbs. I tried it already and the car screamed. But w/o knowing temps i'm not going to even try running that. 7lbs. has been checked and rechecked. No problems with that non-intercooled.

Still great for auto... i've seen your posted #'s. Auto loses almost 10hp/tq thru Torque converter alone. So lets say manual is 180hp. Add 20 more hp for 2lbs more boost and your at 200 right? Now the only variable for me is the Port/polish, header(which most don't have due to fitment issues), and hogged out intake. At worst i'd like to think i've gained 5-10 hp from them. Thing that truly makes my car quick is the LSD and clutch! Gotta love em'
For now Z, try a two stage boost controller. Launch at 6 psi and then go for 8 psi. That would help you get out fast and still pull. Prolly good for half a second at least!
