Exhuast ?

i'm thinking about going 2.5 inch custom exhaust!

Is that too big all i have is a SRI, and a muffler and a resinanator delete! NOW

And does anyone know where i can get a test pipe for 04 Lancer oZ??

This is my daily Driver by the way, and i was thinking about headers also!
What would be good headers to run a 2.5 exhaust

Headers - RPW is the best design.

Exhaust - 2.5" is fine.

Test pipe - don't know of anyone for an 04. But, um, dumb question - you're getting a CUSTOM catback. Have them just make it a foot longer and remove the cat as well. Then you'll have a CUSTOM test pipe as well. (Hint - I capitalized the word custom because the whole idea of getting custom is getting exactly what you want. )

2.5 is too big for an NA Lancer. You should stick with 2.25. I recommend that you get a Muffler and a Resonator in your custom exhaust or it will sound like ****. Once you get headers it'll sound even worse. If you want a testpipe, you can just tell the muffler shop to take out the cat and weld in a straight pipe. The o2 sensor is before the second cat so it will not give you a CEL.

I wouldn't recommend getting a test pipe until after you get headers. A lot of people say the combination is very loud and considering of the two only headers will actually give you any performance gains, I say stick with headers.

testpipe+2.5 exhaust+header= NO TQ.

don't bother with the testpipe. if you use it in combination with a header, you're gonna have no low end torque. Also stick with 2.25" exhaust. tried and true best diameter for a lancer

2.25 press bent or mandrel? I don't think i could ever find a shop to do madrel. I've read a million times that 2.5 press bent will flow like 2.25 mandrel. But I have no interest in loosing torque. i probably won't even do headers until I have IM, TB, and piggy back. maybe just stick with the axleback and consider it done for now?
