The DC exhaust is quite expensive and I don't believe that HKS actually makes a full exhaust for our car. Your best bet if you're worried about burning the bumper is probably the magnaflow. It has a double-walled tip so its pretty safe in that regard.

Just apply heat-resistant clear coat to the bumper on that area around the muffler tip. That might help too. Definitely look into the Greddy Evo II catback; sounds great and looks good too...

I have an 03 OZ and i have the magnaflow catback. Its great! The Tip looks fantastic, it does NOT burn the bumper at all, and the sound is like none other. Its just about as quiet as you can get with an aftermarket exhaust and its so deep and soothing. I love it, can't wait to hear how it sounds under FI this summer...

get the rrm GReddy muffler for $79 then have the rest custom made. It usually comes out cheaper than a catback from a company.

Iwas going to go custom but i could not find a good shop around me that did mandrel bending that wasnt going to charge me outrageous prices. I ended up getting the magnaflow for $391 shipped to my door from performance peddler. Good stuff. But its sad now, the only downside to piecing together a custom turbo project is 90% of the things i recieve cant go on the car yet So as of right now i have an intercooler, a turbo, piping, a bov, a few flanges, and some oil lines just sitting in my garage getting no love. Cant wait til i'm done piecing it together, vroooom

nice, what FMU are you gonna use? But with custom exhaust, that is usually pretty cheap. I was quoted $110 for a custom catback madrel bent 2.5" welded onto my magnaflow muffler.

You'll enjoy the sound... I only have the weld-on EvoII muff and it sounds mean, accompanied with my RMR intake of course.

For now i'm going to use a walbro 2g eclipse 255lph fuel pump, 12:1 FMU, and an SAFC to control any minor adjustments. I'm going to use this setup for a while to keep it rich and get it runnin right and work out any kinks, then i'm swapping to either the RRM piggy back with a custom tune or the Greddy Emanage with a set up slightly upgraded injectors. i'm not lookin to go anywhere crazy past 200whp at 7psi. This is only just a fun project for me to hold me over for another 6-10 months until Mrs OZ gets the axe and i get my evo since i've gotten promoted Gotta take baby steps

I am selling a magnaflow exhaust system still in the box for lancer oz if you want to buy. I have it listed on ebay right now.

I already have one installed on my car I just accidentally ordered 2.
