haha go with an open DP. For a muffler, if you have the money now, call RRM and get their GReddy weld on muffler for $79. Then get a shop to weld it on. I have an axelback already, and a shop told me that they would weld that onto a full catback for $100. So it should be only like $50 to get just a muffler welded on.

i had 2.5" straight pipes on my OZ but i had to get a muffler because of all the tickets i was getting. i ended up getting a dynomax super turbo muffler (#17666) and having a shop make me a custom cat-back from what was left of my pipes.

the muffler was relatively inexpensive. it isn't much different from the magnaflow one for the evo 8, after listening to the clips on their webpage it's pretty close to that. keep in mind my OZ and an evo 8 are completely different cars and the comparison there isn't the %100 best. it sounds worlds better than the clip dynomax has on their webpage of a civic with a muffler.

here's a video my girlfriend shot today of me driving. she says it sounds better in person. i've never had the car drive by me yet so i can't say whether i agree or disagree with her.

Think of this: You can buy a Cherry-Bomb muffler (That Red thing) at PepBOys for 25 Bucks...

Thats all you need to know, to make the right decision.
Save your money, and then get a great Muffler.

Changstas right, get the GReddy. Its a hell of a deal, if your eager to get sometin new on your car.

I got the HKS Carbon Ti and I love it. It'll run ya about 350, believe me its worth it.
