You might want to list your mods or something at least...also, punctuations for the win.

mabye some kind of vacuum leak? but then i doubt you would even make it to 100... try reseting the ecu and give it another go.

Have you done anything to the exterior? These cars have the aerodynamics of a brick, it might simply be topping out because it doesn't have the power to overcome all the resistance.

well i got a body kit now a ken style. well i don't know then wouldn't my car not accelerate as fast because it goes fast it just stop at 100mph i hit 80-85 pretty quick i can't complain about that just the slow down to 100 just isn't doing it for me. i did have a vacuum leak i think the vacuum hose is the one from the im to the fuel regulator ithink the one the connects to the fuel rail. i hose was tore and i replaced it. i recently disconnected my battery but not that long only like 45 minutes. what should i do or what else can i do...

Could be the kit, as you go up in speed the power required to go just that extra bit more grows exponentially, and is directly affected by aerodynamics.

yea, it's probably the kit. That front bumper on the kenstyle has those big *** holes. that's probably what's slowing you down at high speeds. That kit is meant to run a turbo on it, so the intercooler has more airflow to it.

thats cool but i was having the problem before i got the kit to you know what i mean. i would be going then just top out a 100mph if i got luck on a down high i would go a little faster not much. just kinda worried about it. is that a normal thing for the lancer just wondering. oh yeah how do you reset you ecu cause i had that vacuum leak maybe that might help...

Not trying to make this a top speed thread or something, but 120 is attainable totally stock. So you definitely have a problem...

That was happened to me once. I got stuck at 100mph I let off back to around 80 or so then went for it again and like i usually do i topped out at 130. I believe it's when i rested my ecu and the car hadn't seen those rpm's yet in that gear so it's stopped me at 100. But like i said i can get my car up to 130 pretty much every time mine doesn't slow down till around 115ish.

reset the ecu and see if that helps.
disconnect the battery for 5 mins, reconect it. Start the car, let it idle for 10 mins, then drive it around for 15 mins'ish so the ECU can relearn, dont drive it too hard at first though.
