You have 4G94 engine though don't you? You could always pick up an ECU from a wrecked lancer and have that flashed, including raising the rev limiter. Alternatively you could call WORKS and see if they could flash your current ECU, I would assume the two are pretty close code wise anyways.

I have 4g94 ecu and harness, but too much work. Is WORKS reflash more like RRM reflash or it's like adding afc to stock ecu?

The WORKS reflash is a custom reflash, they can raise the rev limiter, adjust timing, adjust AF ratios, whatever you want.

I'll call them tomorow. I actually just got '97 ecu. I'll ask if they can do something with it. If not I'll just put in '97 ecu which is already better than '98-'02. I'll keep it posted.

The fuel map is alot better then '98-'02. And there is no fuel cut so I can go +140

I forgot to ask you: When you were changing pistons, did you change the rod bearings?

That's higher than my rev limiter, mine is at like 6000 or a little above.
