So could someone describe to me where abouts this EGR valve is? Though I have no issues, it could probably be a great idea to clean it out.

But you will still want to "flush" the tranny. Trust me, you'll see better fuel mileage even on the first flush. City driving used to net us 230/240 miles; now we'll get an avg of 280 easy. Sitting @ 250 right now with a tad less than a quarter fuel gauge left (cuz we all know that @ the quarter hash mark there isn't a quarter tank left). LOL

Good luck!

here are the pics of the location of the EGR Valve.
I have outlined the EGR Valve in Red
the 2 bolts that need removing are marked with red X's
the single vacuum line that runs to the EGR valve is outlined in blue

Hey! awesome RMR heat-shielded sri there! I got one too; except mine has rusted alot on the bottom lower sheet metal. Needs a good sanding and new paint.

Thx alot for the pics! I'll probably do a cleaning this weekend.

yeh, cleaning this out is def worth doing from the looks of things. Maybe i will even save on gas. lol
i get about 270 city miles on a full tank, so maybe with this, plus the tranny flush i will get even more

okay i reset the ECU and didnt fix it
im worried that im going to have to spend alot of money to fix it
like if i broke the EGR
if i unplug the vac line(smallest line ) on the throttle body it stops doing it
