Engine Swap?

LoL. Now you know that wouldn't be any kind of race you have the Lancer by at least 400lbs if not more. Swap bleh.......why swap seriously just buy a new car.

everyone is missing my point.....for sure get a new car over swap, any idiot should if they have the money.....but, if your lancer in a few years starts putting on massive amounts of mileage, a turbo would be like steriods, it works, but what will the damage be....if the swap works, and can be done for the same price as a turbo....a what if situation....then i would for sure do the engine swap seeing as thou its power to the wheels without the risk of running high levels of boost on stock internals. and even if they arent stock internals, the 4G63T is an amazing stock engine, capable of pushing intense amounts of boost on stock internals.

the 4G63 engine should fit but you wont have hardly any extra room.. you also need to streanghten your chasis since the EVO chasis is more rigid than the U.S lancers... You need to upgrade suspension also... and if you want to get into Making your car AWD then you will spend about 5-8k doing that....
